The DSAM is nice for troubleshooting installs, with the ranging, and throughput testing you can do, but for sweep I love my 5000. Besides, you can't do a certification with a 6000 last i knew, because the software for doing CSO/CTB hadn't been figured out.
I don't understand why they would release a meter that supercedes the 5000, but can't do a critical certification test.
