The thing about it is though Ty. is the system is always set up to take the responsibility away from the mastes and Direct Sat's and put it on the contractor. They will make their money no matter what and the contractor takes all of the risk for everything. and then the prime builds huge back office empires and make 6 and 7 digit salaries at the top and do what to actually earn it? They pay 30 days just like the bill DTV, you provide the tools insurance, vehicle and supplies. And then every crazy back charge down the pike, they send to you. It has been a problem in this business forever. But few people have the courage to stand up and take a stand. I had a prime contract with several MSO's and walked away and started a new company doing tower work. Wasn't easy at first, made a bunch of mistakes and lost money at first. I ate the mistakes, not my guys. But now we are profitable and I can go the the gatekeeper above and say I did it the honorable and right way. Can the management at Mastec and Direct Sat and the rest like them do the same. One day they will find out for sure.
