The SWM's have a mind of their own
I mean one minute I will have signal and the next minute I don't. Sometimes I have to reset three to four times for the IRD to recognize that it is on SWM. I have had the same problem thinking I am using the correct power supply and low and behold it's a 16v...UHH one hour wasted... How bout this...Plugging in an extra SWM and it makes the other SWM go out... It took me four hours to realize that I needed the power things (only allow power to go one way). Not sure what they are called.... The LNB was being overpowered by too many power supplies.. It's funny... I wish they made a book that would explain the little quirks of the SWM unit...
