Re: How does the gas and oil industry pay?

Oil and gas pays very well.  The only problem is finding the work.  I live in west texas, lots of oil, lots of layoff's as well.  I know lots of people that went from bringing home 10k a month to delivering pizza's over night.  I worked as a landman for the last few years, super easy work and great money.  Now I'm writing estimates for an insurance company for the last year for half the money.
