Back in 1985 I owned a ranch in Texas west of Kerrville.Came in the front gate and had a couple of miles of ranch road with 8 foot deer proof fence on each side,caught a spike buck in between the two fences and herded him along slowly until he finally went crazy and jumped into the fence and hung hisself by his antlers 6 feet off the ground,well being a little under the influence of that rum I drank back then I decided he was going to die hanging there.So I walked down got with in 5 feet of him ,he saw me and left.If I had been in his way he would have killed me for sure.Another story from that area was about the tore up illegal alien(exchange student) a ranch hand on the YO Ranch found wandering around bleding and in real bad shape.He said a giant turkey attacked him.After a while they figured out it was a ostrage.There bad animals.Love it out there.   Chuck
