Re: What to do when companies fail to pay?

Yes!
The idea is to get paid..by making your problem their problem. Anything that gets a check cut promptly is better than going through the courts. While the courts do what they do......legal costs can come out of your money....for sure collection agencies take a slice.

What really grinds me is, after eating a few no-pay deals I asked an MSP sub for personal identification and the name of the bank he planned to use to pay me. Also he was "out of contract forms" but assured me everybody gets paid as soon as he gets paid. These guys use their teen age kids as office staff and surprise, surprise expensive equipment gets lost. No, they don't get paid for jobs because they can't do the paper work. They still owe money for the jobs they contracted.

But they take the attitude that they are business men running a big deal company.

Crooks!
