If you have your own cargo van I would suggest you find a way to make money with it. Ain't gonna happen doing installs for cable anymore. If ya can paint ? then paint, hang drywall, do home repairs, anything but be a slave to the pimps of cable. I'm out and I'm glad.
1 big job a week ( day and a half's work ) and I make 2-3 weeks worth of cable install pay that I was slaving for 6 weeks ago, plus they pay me hourly for doing r & d, surveys, and trouble calls as a consultant.
And no I aint tellin ya what I'm doing now.
