i agree about the crooks and the 1099 abuse but its legal, i consistenly hire out by the hour doing backhoe and dumptruck work , also furnish labor hands that i charge by the hours of work preformed,, same principle, its not the 1099 thats the problem, it is us ( and i included me in this statement) that take these jobs at a rate that makes it attractive for the loop hole hunters thats trying to put more in there pockets and less than ours, if we dont agree to these terms ,, and nobody will do it , NO PROBLEM ... sounds easy dont it,,, but when your kids and family need things ( like rent and food) we all get taken advantage of
