Depends on what carriers you are using to balance, say your using 860 eq's but your balancing @ 2 and 70, you have a 12 eq in the slot but have to put a 18 eq to gain 4 dB of tilt, another thing also is make sure your in Man not AGC, I'm sure there's more to add, but just a couple things off the top of my head, hope it helps.
