It's not the age of CATV....It's the new age of Broadband. This is what will bring the cable industry down=the lack of preventive maintenance, this is why the Tel Co's will move ahead. Cable MSO's never did perform any maintenance. The largest in the nation has some 4000 pole change out to do, just in my area.
Hold on to all your construction equipment as this industry will have to rebuild their plant, if they want to compete. These patch jobs going on today will never hold up in these high tech service days. Just do quality work, hang in there, better times are ahead. Don't look back, keep your vision on future
opportunities. You are right "Bean Counters" run this industry today.
