Question

Does anybody know if a band called Waterfront out of Asberry Park NJ is still together? The lead singer Leon was an old friend of mine. I met him in 1976 at Art Stocks Playpen South in Ft Lauderdale . The Band played at the Playpen , The band was Playing one of Bruce Springsteins songs and in walks Bruce and on stage Bruce and Leon duetted one of Bruce's songs . I watched a woman pass out and fall to the floor just from being that close to Bruce . Years ago I use to manage the Pavillion on Atlantic Beach North Carolina , Chubby Checker was singing the twist he reach down and touched two women they passed out and droped to the Floor like wet rags . It must be nice to be a singer with that kind of Power. WE also had other bands like , Chairmen of the Board , The Embers , The Showman , Billy Scott and the Profets , every beach music band that was anything played there , I know all those folks . Funny thing things you think of that you haven't thought of in years when your trying to put something Big together . Thanks for reading .
