Don't rely on QC guys to provide the evidence that you have done your job, ever! Take pictures always. Then, if they ever say you didn't, you can send the pics and say yes that you did. I have over 700 install photos just on this hard-drive and more on my other hard-drives. If a QC guy ever puts my money at risk by saying a job wasn't done right, I can bury them in pictures.
