Cold Cleaver = Biotch as your well aware of
1 thing i have done in the past when i only need to splice a couple of fibers outside in the cold was to leave the cleaver on the dashboard with the defrost on while i was getting everything else ready ie prepping if new location, opening enclosure if to repair a bad splice then bringing the cleaver and fusion machine out only after i had the fibers to splice or fix * broke and layed out of the tray READY to cleave and burn... and as big stated a snap n pop isn't a bad way to go cause keep in mind . not sure where your working at but its only FALL.
Good Luck
