I agree with nrb1 , but , if you are unable to obtain any cooperation , or , time is of the essence , in most all cases , any wire runs proceding from the multi-port to the individual units are almost always considered a permanent fixture or improvement , and become the legal property of the building . ( At least , that has been the case wherever i have dealt with it .) Like nrb1 said , be curteous , and play it safe . It may even open future doors for you . Good Luck .
