I am sure most of the answer are trying to help you. If your return system is lined up properly YES YOU SHOULD SEE `0` at your GAIN and TILT on the 9580-SSR or in the field at your 860-DSPi or RSVP. As far as cablemodem, their level is adjusted by the CMTS and only INGRESS could effect their level. All level coming from the customer should hit the amp. and node at =15 to +20 dBmV. This is the level you should also adjust the return section of your HFC system.
