True Gwester, I have some personal exprience with Mastec. I wont slander but when ole moneybags Pete bought out an established company and employees one time they made some fatal errors. They cut,pay and perdium on many 20 and 30yr veterans. Many quit some formed their own companys and done well,those who stayed were unhappy,morale fell from the top down,production plummetted Mastec was run off of many jobs and the times were Dark. Thats the short version,I have moved many times hunting a job and a place to call home and if I feel I'm gettingt an unfair shake I'll do it again.
