This is another angle of the Waffle House. Note the swimming pool in the picture. There is a car in this pool and a tire can be seen sticking out of the water if you look closely. This was a 2-story apartment complex that had roughly 50-units that were built square around this pool. This is where the eye of Katrina passed and where my apartment used to be on the 2nd level.
