Hey brother, the guys on here are good guys. Some cynical and some not. But we're all still doing the same thing. So get into the business. Do good work, all the time. Don't get in too much of a hurry, speed will come. Be consistant. Be flexible and agreeable with your work providers. Do all the work they'll let you do and be happy with it. Constantly ask to get into various jobs, like splicing, satellites, etc. Get and keep a good name for being a hard working, agreeable, consice, and multi-talented technician. You will be a vet before you know it and one way or another you will always be able to make an above average income. Roll with the times and keep an open mind to new technologies. You got your foot in the door, now enjoy a new thing. Cable will be around for a long time. (look into fiber to the home)
