Splicing schools

There are a couple on the east coast for cable splicing and all the training associated with it - MTTI, 54 Water Street, E. Providen, RI 02914 1-866-454-MTTI and the other is MTA Long Island RR, Jamaica Station, Jamaica, NY, ATTN: Human Resources - SR Mail code 1155-IT-NET. I believe my hub's buddy went to a fiber splicing training school out in CA a year or so back, but I'm sure if you Google the topic, you'll get some information.
