are you working with TNA, GNA and two different style le's? I am currently splicing in refurbished mag 550 gear, i hope your not. you should pad your input to what the equipment is designed for proper levels. then go to the output and ajust your manual gain to where you have approx. 3 to 4 db play, then eq for your tilt. while you are still in manual referance your AGC pilot , then flip the AGC switch and tweak the AGC pot to match your level on the AGC pilot when you where in manual. hope this helps.
