Just wanted to make sure you know I am in no way trying to pooh pooh your post and you are right about the 9890 it is very good. I also forgot to add that you must have been a very good locator, there are quite a few that do not even notice when they have been pulled off onto another utility and just go merrily along and are in complete shock when they get a damage. It is just I have done this for years begining in the stone ages when u/g contractors had to mark most utilities themselves while trying to out run a dinosaur. LOL
