Ok, bud, you are a sub-contractor... being a sub-contractor you are supposed to go out and get Liability, Commercial Vehical, and Workers Comp Insurance... as well as health and life... You pay this out of your pocket, but are able to deduct the premiums from your taxes at the end of the year.... Some states are all different, but you need to CYA at all times and cannot depend on your Contractor to be up to snuff and to cover your arse for you.
