You can also take the check to the bank it was drawn on (assuming they have an account) as many times as you would like. Just because they have been returned does not mean you cannot try it again. It happened to "a friend of mine" and they had to pay multiple times check fees for the same check. Screw them if they screw you. Thats if you call and they wont pay.
