Just heard through the grapevine , still more contractors getting the nasty end of the bore rod up the ( you know what ) , in ........ Some have not been paid at all , others month or more overdue . Subs pointing finger at primes. Primes pointing finger at cable company and ........ And that is just the beginning of the finger pointing. Total SNAFU. Why do all the guys doing all the hard work suffer the most ?? Maybe , if all the subs, and contractors could just stop all their work , every body on the top of the ladder would realize who is holding the ladder up. I rode this jobsite out myself , and the BS was unbelievable. Some of the build makes no sense at all. Judging by the rates for the cabledawgs ( the Real Men in this Industry ) , others are trying to either rape , or recooup thier own loses from previous jobs gone bad. Hell of a way to run a business. Guess no one ever heard of Business Economics. Accounting , or Book-keeping as well. Ask around if you don't believe me. I am so glad I didn't fall into the trap. But , I am furious , how this mistreatment of hard-working subs , and contractors , is allowed to continue . I have personally met subs ( some of whom were there out of desperation , willing to do anything to keep their heads above water ) , and seen them leave twice as broke as they were in the beginning. I wish to God , the FCC , or anyone still left with ethics,morals,values,standards ( any form of deciency ) would please tap in ( pardon the pun ) , restore any type of order possible , and give the hard-working CableDawg , sub , or contractor , the Rights and RESPECT they deserve . WE are the ONES holding up that ladder . Unfortunately , we care too much for our fellow human-beings , and our Democracy , or we would have let go of the ladder a long time ago . This Soap Box performance is about a real deal . What is even worse , it is happening in other areas , maybe even your own . We all know this great world will end someday . Isn't it time to step to the plate , and do the next ( or maybe the first ) right thing ?? Want us to look up to you ? Give us something to look up to , Please !
