Here's a little something a lot of people overlook. You need to check out how your employer has you listed. You'll find there isn't a classification for most cable jobs and they try to use telephone and power as a cross over. The problem you have is if something happens and your classification doesn't meet your job description then not only are you out your insurance, you're out your money and any recourse. As everyone else has stated you're better off getting your own coverage, then the responsibility falls upon your agent but you're still covered. As someone else stated it doesn't work if you're the only employee and you own the business. You're just wasting your cash.
