OK if you have only 1 return path from 4 to 40 MHz, there could be to much traffic to handle on 4 output combined into one. With this option, you have output 1 running from 5 to 40 MHz, output 2 running from 50 to 85 MHz, output 3 running from 95 to 130 MHz and output 4 running from 140 to 75 MHz. Much more traffic available with this option, than combining 4 output into 1 return 5-40 MHz.
