The purpose of this position is to plan, organize, schedule, budget, staff, and manage the cable construction project assigned and ensure that the project is completed according to established budget and schedules.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

1. This position reports to the assigned operations manager and directly supervises the Project Administrator, Construction Supervisors, and Secretary of the project.
2. Interfaces with the Construction Division personnel, Engineering, Design and Drafting, Operations personnel, local government agencies, contractor and vendor representatives.

MAJOR DUTIES

1. Responsible for the supervision and management of all functional areas within the project to include production scheduling, mapping and design; makeready submissions; PA-BOM preparation; operating budget preparation; permits and easements; construction, materials management; invoice verification; asbuilt preparation and material usage reconciliation and project shutdown.
2. Responsible for the management of all project personnel.
3. Responsible for the timely periodic submission of all project reports, schedules, and invoices.
4. Responsible for the proper use and maintenance of all equipment assigned.
5. Responsible for maintaining a good working relationship with all groups involved.
6. This position has tremendous impact on the success or failure of the project as well as the training and development of the project’s personnel.
7. This position is responsible for the preparation of the project’s operating budget.
8. This position requires independent judgement and decision making authority as the senior TWC person on the project.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. This position requires excellent administrative, organizational, and communication skills.
2. A working knowledge of cable TV construction including drafting procedures, layout and design, makeready construction, aerial and underground construction, contractor invoice verification and asbuilt procedures is required.

3. A pre-employment drug screen is required.

4. A valid driver’s license and a good driving record are required.
