This seems like a Workman's Compensation Insurance matter.IF you have already been "made whole" by medical treatments and or compensation money from the insurance carrier you are screwed. Likewise, IF your employer, the cable company, did not have compensation insurance you can sue him. After that the state insurance fund may cover you.
While this is not legal advice and each state has different laws.....Workman's Compensation Insurance laws are in place to protect property owners from exactly the kind of event you describe.
