Over heating node

I have a strand mounted S.A. 6940 node that shuts down when the temps rise to around 100*. It sits in a small valley with very little wind for cooling, it is in the sun from sunrise to almost sunset, it is almost to hot to touch and starts coming back on when it is opened and the internal temp drops a little. I have done some research and have learned that S.A. says it is good to 150*, which I have no doubt it is exceeding.
I am open to suggestions, i know the guys that are in the southern areas have encountered this problem and would like to know what they have done in the past to fight the heat.

Thanks in advance for the serious answers and I'm sure there will be a few funny suggestions.
