If this is truly in the works . I say death to 1099 , you will have more control of your rights. Staying 1099 in the cable or sat. industry, is like giving your paycheck to some one else and you paid for all the materials .kinda like what GM did to its suppliers and chrysler did to its retirees. Promises of smoke  . Kinda like a fart and you got all the stink . No one intended
