Qualifications
In-house: Minimum 2 years experience as lead lineman
Abilities to read and understand CATV design prints, able to splice and activate forward and reverse. Sub-contractor must have all required insurances and all labor force must meet required drug and background checks. SUB-CONTRACTORS must have proven track record and verifiable references
Other Requirements
In-House: Must be able to pass background and drug screening tests Must have valid drivers license with minimum of a "E" class, CDL preferred. SUB-CONTRACTOR must have current insurance and verifiable references
Job Description
Place and install new strand, cable and/or fiber, DE and RE lash coax and fiber, install risers, down guys, VGR's and bonding. Pole transfers and all standard aerial construction
Splice and activate with forward and reverse capabilities
Additional responsibilities: must be able to work some inside plant and pull cable/fiber in conduits, and inside building.
SUB-CONTRACTORS: standard aerial construction both fiber and coax MUST have a qualified splicer for coax. All types of project available, new build, forces relocates, span replacements, pole transfer (have 1000' of pole transfers for qualified company)
