Position Summary:

The Foreman will oversee all construction activities of a crew on an assigned project ensuring a focus on safety, compliance with established project plans, efficiency and cost management.

The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of aerial and/or underground work practices related to telecommunication construction. Must have proven ability to lead/ teach members of a crew and understand and practice safety and quality management best practices and procedures.

Primary Outcomes:

Possess a good working knowledge of all aspects of telecommunications construction including, building strand, lashing/over lashing, pole transfers, vertical grounds, and building and repairing aerial telecommunication lines.

Experience with aerial lift devices, utility lines and poles and can safely/effectively operate excavation and/or aerial equipment.

Must be able to read blue prints/job plans and construct project according to the plan and specifications.

Accurately track and report daily production, maintaining regular documentation and ensuring proper paper flow to back office support.

Must be able to effectively schedule and lay out the work, organizing and monitoring crew personnel for timely completion of job(s). Ensure that crew has
proper materials, supplies, tools and equipment necessary to complete work

Make sure that work sites are cleaned and cleared of any hazardous materials prior to the beginning of a construction project.

Minimum Qualifications:
