Job Description and Responsibilities:
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
This position is responsible to assist with the oversight, organization, maintenance, and day to day operations of the Company's wireline, wireless, fulfillment, and recovery communications hardware and services to local and remote employees.


ESSENTIAL TELECOM DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Deploy and support VoIP and cellular devices, including initial provisioning, activation, troubleshooting/diagnosis of future issues, and replacement of devices

Manage remote and local telecommunications inventory; including ordering devices and processing equipment to be returned to inventory

Perform appropriate issue diagnosis and guide users through step-by-step solutions; clearly and effectively communicate technical solutions in a user-friendly, professional manner

Maintain required telecom records and documentation

Assist with monthly audits of telecom spending, plan analysis, and inventory as needed

Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.


Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, plus 1-2 years of experience and/or training in the smartphone/wireless communications industry with field knowledge of email and networking, mobile technologies, etc.; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Technical experience with CDMA, LTE, 3G and 4G wireless networks and devices preferred; Technical experience iOS, Android, and Apple mobile services preferred.


COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with customers, clients, general public and other employees of the organization.

USE OF MACHINES, EQUIPMENT AND/OR COMPUTERS
Regular use of highly complex machines and equipment; specialized or advanced software programs. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.


PUBLIC CONTACT
Regular contacts with patrons, including vendors and employees within the office or in the field. May also involve occasional self-initiated contacts to patrons. Lack of tact and judgment may result in a limited type of problem for the organization.


ADDITIONAL SKILLS
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing, must have a valid driver's license and a driving record that meets Company requirements, ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment, highly organized and detail orientated, may be required to work long and unpredictable hours.
