Contractors must provide Certificate of Insurance. Must have own reliable transportation, proper tools and equipment. Must have valid drivers license.
Job Description
Seeking motivated individuals and/or crew with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, to perform drop buries of fiber optic cable to homes and businesses. This position will also require occasional bores under sidewalks and driveways.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, experience and requirements:
Candidate will supply proof of valid driver's license.
1-2 years of experience preferred. Digging/drilling in both standard and high-risk areas to include live and operational utilities.
Must be in good physical condition.
Position requires working outdoors in all types of weather.
Must be able to keep accurate notation of completed work and submit in a timely manner.
Must be responsible and willing to work a consistent schedule.
Must be flexible to work long and/or unpredictable hours.
Knowledge of highway traffic control standards.
Must be able to read maps and understand directional markings.
Organization of materials and other resources necessary to complete excavation requirements, which may include basic hand tools, shovels, rakes, pick ax, etc.
Maintain customer rapport by listening to and resolving concerns as well as answering any questions.
Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment by following codes, standards and regulations.
