Fiber Splicers Needed

Pay
Pay is set by actual OSP splicing experience. We also have Prevailing Wage work.
Qualifications
This position is responsible for the performance of various tasks including but not limited to:
• Placing aerial coax and fiber cable
• String and maintain wire (Pulling, Fiber Splicing, Clipping, Stranding & Spacing Line)
• Using bucket trucks to Lash and De-Lash Existing & New Cable.
• Install equipment and dress pole to customer specifications using assorted small hand and power tools
Other Requirements
• Excellent physical conditioning and stamina. Able to lift 80 lbs.
• Ability to work in a confined space and at high elevations (poles, hydraulic lift buckets, ladders)
• Knowledge of all construction tools and equipment including; bucket trucks, lasher, blocks, pulling grips, stand/cable trailers, cable layers, hoists, bolt cutters, lay-up sticks and hand lines.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Job Description
Allstates Consulting Services is looking for Aerial Linemen, Ground men and Fiber Splicers to do aerial fiber installations. We will consider anyone that has experience in fiber, coax or power line installations. We encourage military veterans with telecom/cable/comms experience to apply! The work is in the MA, PA, NY markets. We can consider anyone that is willing to drive into those markets each week. Must be willing to work flexible schedules and travel up to 2 to 3 weeks, not all work will be close enough for you to travel home each day/week.

Splicers: Must be able to use multiple type fusion splicers, OTDR testers, and have previous Outside plant Splicing experience.
Position Requirements:
• Excellent physical conditioning and stamina. Able to lift 80 lbs.
