MUST HAVE CATV KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE AND BE ABLE TO IDENTIFY ALL EQUIPMENT AND UNDERSTAND CONSTRUCTION BEST PRACTICES.

Job Description
For this position, it is very important, to pay attention to detail. Please, read this ad, in its entirety. Follow the instructions carefully.
1. Atlanta and surrounding area – Field engineering. We are seeking people, with experience, in the CATV industry. THIS IS A LONG-TERM POSITION. It is preferable, that you live in North Georgia. Candidates will need to be able to do the following:
a. Recognize and document all existing equipment (Asbuilting Fiber and Coax).
b. Determine best practices routing, from tie point to target.
c. Complete understanding, of how both fiber and coax work and how they feed areas.
d. Outside plant routing, Aerial and Underground, Fiber and Coax.
e. Inside business routing, to telcom room rack or equipment wall.
f. Comprehension of symbology, map reading, map drawing, entity requirements.
g. Ability to transfer information clearly, in writing and in person, to designers.
h. Clear understanding of U/G routing, to determine existing utility routing.
i. Clear understanding of existing pole attachments.
j. Ability to follow instructions.
k. Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
l. Ability to upload and download documentation, from the Cloud.
m. Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation.
n. Background Check.
o. Drug Test.
