Qualifications

• 3-5 years of MDU construction industry experience or other industry related experience • Knowledge of the use and operating characteristics of a variety of light and heavy equipment used in construction • Knowledge of the hazards incidental to maintenance and construction involved and of the safety measures to be observed • Thorough knowledge of inventory control • Manage contractors and coordinate multi-site construction projects • Must provide own work truck • Must provide own tools

• Full comprehension of construction plans in order to supervise successful completion of operations • Highly organized and detail orientated • Ability to think analytically and apply sound judgment, solve problems, make effective decisions, and act with integrity • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment • Time management skills; must be able to meet deadlines • Ability to reach site plans • Must be in good physical condition with the ability to stoop,crawl, bend at the knees

Job Description

Corbel Communications is seeking MDU Field Supervisor. The purpose of this position is to oversee technicians and ensure quality service is being performed. The Field Supervisor is responsible for coordination, delegation, supervision and quality control of onsite work including responsibility for performance and productivity of all crew members and accuracy of all related documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with local management on daily responsibilities
• Ability to plan, layout, and supervise the activities of a large working unit involving crews performing varied tasks
• Understand, train and enforce proper documentation of pay activities (work orders, work reports, etc.)
• Provide exemplary customer service to customers, corporate leadership, subordinate supervisors and technicians, and instill technicians with professional, customer service driven attitude
• Assist local management as directed with goal setting, production, efficiently solving issues with customers, technician scheduling, and morale, etc.
• Ensure Field employees have the proper tools, training on tools, and safety gear to succeed at all times
• Responsible for safety and vehicle inspections
• Adhere to safety policies and lead by example
• Accurately document correspondence with customers
• Provide timely feedback on all aspects of the day to day when requested
• Insure that all standards of construction are met by crews, coach and correct as needed
• Conduct Quality Control inspections regularly
