Job Description and Responsibilities :
Job Summary: This position is responsible for the oversight of all facets of the assigned market, including but not limited to; daily operations, safety, staffing, accomplishing business objectives, customer satisfaction, and profitability.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Direct and coordinate all market activities to develop and implement long-range goals to meet business and profitability growth objectives

Review analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine market progress towards established objectives

Plan and implement procedures and systems to maximize operating efficiency and develop strategies to improve operational inefficiencies

Promote a safety first culture and ensure a safe work environment is maintained by adhering to and enforcing all Company safety practices and procedures

Determine ongoing staffing requirements, monitor staff, and ensure training needs are addressed

Supervise direct reporting staff according to Company policy

Oversee the maintenance of the facility, warehouse, fleet, vehicles, equipment, and tools

Handle escalated customer concerns and accurately document correspondence with customers

Establish, manage, and maintain subcontractor relationships

Liase with the Shared Services group to resolve concerns or issues within the operations

Review financial and operational performance data to monitor and measure productivity and goal progress

Requirements :
Supervisory Responsibilities

Carries out supervisory duties in accordance with the Company's objectives, policies, and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: planning, assigning, and directing work, interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing employee concerns, and partnering with HR to resolve escalated employee matters.


Education:

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in business or related field; or

(5) to (7) years' related experience; or

Equivalent combination of education and experience.


Experience:

(5) to (7) years' experience in satellite installation, CATV, telecommunications, or related field

(2) to (3) years' management experience


Technical Skills:

Computer and Microsoft Office proficiency

Advanced understanding of satellite installation, upgrade, and service


Soft Skills:

Ability to think analytically and apply sound judgment, solve problems, make effective decisions, and act with integrity

Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment

Time management skills; must be able to meet deadlines

Superior communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of supervisory and employee management principles

Ability to lead, train, teach, and motivate staff

Strong customer orientation

Above average business and financial acumen


Physical Requirements:

Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing

Must have a valid driver's license and a drive record that meets Company requirements

Must be in good physical condition with the ability to stoop, crawl, bend at the knees and waist, squat, and lift 75 pounds; includes body weight, equipment, tools, and safety gear

Must have knowledge and experience using the required safety equipment and hand tools

Working on a computer for 6-8 hours a day

Sitting at a desk for 6-8 hours a day

May be required to work long and unpredictable hours
