Job Description

Due to exceptional growth, QualTek is hiring an HR Coordinator in King of Prussia, PA.

Job Description and Responsibilities :
QualTek Management LLC is a turnkey provider in the telecommunications industry. We provide engineering, construction, fulfillment, and project management to the industry. Our customer base includes all the major US Carriers. With 16 office locations across the United States and workforce over 1,000 qualified professionals, QualTek is a "preferred" vendor to a wide array of telecom firms.


Primary Responsibilities:

Audits, tracks, and conducts follow up on new hire paperwork and benefits, including but not limited to the following: applications, background release forms, policy acknowledgements, Form I-9 and associated documentation

Responsible for data entry of new hires into HRIS system

Administers E-Verify program

Conducts weekly New Hire Orientation via conference

Tracks and conducts follow up on all corrective action notices, termination reports, and supporting documentation

Manages relationships with various 3rd party vendors i.e. Unemployment Insurance Benefits and Labor Law Compliance Posters

Reviews and provides requested information to vendor for all unemployment claims received

Monitors Labor Law Posters and federal/state updates to ensure most current information is available at each field location

Conducts exit interviews

Assists with general employee inquiries upon request

Completes employment verifications upon request

Responsible for filing of all Company personnel paperwork

Conducts coordination of weekly benefit packets to be distributed to field locations

Provides back-up reception phone coverage when needed

Other duties as assigned


Requirements :
Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field


Experience:

0-2 years' experience as an HR coordinator in a multi-state, multi-site organization

Experience in ADP Software is strongly preferred


Technical Skills:

Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Must be able to document and present work in a clear and concise manner


Soft Skills:

Highly organized and detail orientated

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels within the organization

Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment under tight deadlines

Time management skills; deadline adherence is mandatory

The ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality


Physical Requirements:

Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing

Sitting at a desk for 6-8 hours a day

Working on a computer for 6-8 hours a day

May be required to work long and unpredictable hours
