Qualifications

We are looking for experienced Fiber Optic Splicer to join our company. A qualified candidate will terminate, test, troubleshoot and maintain fiber optic networks. They will have working knowledge of fusion splicing (both ribbon and loose tube). Minimum 3 years of SPLICING EXPERIENCE with a valid driver’s license with a clean record and a good work ethic. This position requires the ability to work various shifts/hours, travel, outdoor/indoor work environments.

Job Description

Responsible for terminating and testing various fiber optic systems. Must have the ability to comprehend fiber schematics and other company records in order to ensure a high-quality performance. Will need to update and maintain fiber records throughout a project as well as completing weekly paperwork such as time sheets and daily work orders. Candidate must have a wide variety of skill sets and must have the ability to work alone effectively and efficiently.

•A minimum 3 years of fiber experience, capable at terminating and splicing of fiber optic cables.
Must Have Ribbon Experience
•Travel will be required

Working Conditions
•Hours may vary, but generally 40-50 per week.
•Work schedule can vary between day work and night cuts.
•Employee may have to work out of a tent, trailer or in manholes as less than 5% of our work is Aerial
