Lineman for Career Position - Northeast OH

Upon arrival. We have a maintenance contract and new build projects.
Pay
Hourly starting over $20/hr, based on experience. Reviews and increases potentially every 6 months. 401k with up to 4% company match, health/vision/dental insurances, paid holidays and vacations.
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year experience as a lineman. Valid driver's license. High School Diploma or GED equivalent (preferred but not required)
Other Requirements
Must be able to climb a utility pole and maneuver 60 pounds over your head on a day-to-day basis. The employee must be able to lift 60 pounds + and work in extreme weather conditions such as extreme heat or extreme cold. Must be able to bend, sit, squat and kneel.
Job Description
•Install strand and associated hardware to poles
•Lash fiber or coax to strand while maintaining integrity of product
•Delashing of existing systems
•Safely climb poles with gaffs and operate a bucket truck
•Oversee the safety of the ground crew
•Conduct a pre-job hazard analysis before the beginning of each project
•Inspect the project location prior to starting a job
•Communicate with the Ground Hand and other employees regarding tools needed for a project
•Complete all paperwork as needed
•All other duties as assigned
