Summary The Area Trainer/Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the implementation of all new product releases including Beta or national launch in local markets within his/her area, training curriculum, and certification processes for home service provider (HSP) employees. This employee will also help develop and implement successful strategies to reduce service and improve quality.

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Manage and support the implementation of all training related activities in the area;
•Conduct training needs assessments in all local sites within local area footprint
•Responsible for all aspects of training delivery and follow-up within local footprint
•Collaborate with local site management teams to improve struggling operation metrics including service reduction, quality improvement, certification compliance, staffing, and training/ retraining
•Constant communication with GMs and Regional Training Manager within local area markets about areas of concern
•Manage the collection and monitoring of participant information and evaluation results of all local training activities
•Engage local offices regarding safety metrics and CNI metrics within scope
•Communicate and execute directives issued by Director of Training, RDO, and RTM
•Communicate areas of concern to RTM & GM(s). Develop and execute possible solutions
•Enforce and maintain area standards in safety, workmanship, performance productivity and all other aspects of DirectSat culture
•Education – certification- enforcement of DirectSat safety culture while maintaining compliance with SBCA and OSHA standard procedures, rules, and regulations


Supervisory Responsibilities

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.


Qualifications

•Experience in training, management or a relevant area
•1 year experience in supervision, proctorship, or management of adult training/educational programs
•Significant work experience as a field technician in the telecommunications or digital media work force
•Demonstrated experience in the following in Customer Service; Customer Satisfaction
•Experiential training design and methodology or developing technical training programs, including working with technical subject matter or facilitating technical workshops and other events designed to improve the ability of individuals and organizations to achieve key business goals
•Goal-oriented projects in a teamwork environment
•Developed skills in facilitating training
•Project Management skills
•Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and/or authoring tools is highly desired but not required
•Experience leading training programs across multiple locations is highly desired
•Ability to travel within the area for training/meeting purposes
