Job Description and Responsibilities :
This position is responsible for the daily management and reconciliation of owned and consigned inventory for the market.
Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for the execution of all warehouse operations and functional processes
Utilize the inventory management system for the daily tracking of inventory
Receive and verify accuracy of incoming shipments; inspect equipment and materials upon receipt, and resolve invoice and/or packing slip discrepancies
Ensure the safe and efficient storage of materials
Accurately and efficiently pull and distribute materials
Complete the proper documentation for all transactions
Maintain a clean and orderly work environment and adequate supply levels
Create an efficient warehouse design to ensure maximization of space utilization
Safeguard warehouse operations and contents as per the established security protocol
Liaise with Corporate Fleet department to manage the market's fleet, including but not limited to vehicle assignments, routine maintenance, repairs, vehicle registration, and inspection compliance
Conduct physical inventory counts on a quarterly basis
Metrics, reporting, and special projects as needed
Other duties as assigned
Requirements :
Education:
High school; plus 0-4 years related experience and/or training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience:
Compliance and knowledge of relevant OSHA regulations and safety standards
Forklift certification preferred
DOT medical card preferred
Technical Skills:
Computer and Microsoft Office proficiency
Experience using an inventory management system
Soft Skills:
Highly organized and detail orientated
Effective listening, verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
Ability to work independently with minimal direct oversight
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing
Must have a valid driver's license and a driving record that meets Company requirements
Ability to stoop, crawl, bend at the knees and waist, squat, push, pull, lift above the head, and lift 100 lbs.
May be required to work long and unpredictable hours
Must be able to work evenings and weekends during busy periods
