Required:•Proficient in MS Excel & have working knowledge of Word, Access & Outlook.•Solid understanding of Cable TV industry.•Exceptional communication skills.•Ability to develop & maintain strong customer relationships.•Ability to multi-task, handle interruptions, prioritize workload & a strong attention to detail.•Highly responsible, dependable, and self-motivated with the ability to work under minimal supervision.•Able to maintain positive,empathetic & professional attitude.

Other Requirements

Time Requirement: This is a full-time position. You must be able to work Monday through Friday between the hours of 6AM – 5:00PM. This position may require occasional travel.

Job Description

The Subcontract Administrator is primarily responsible for providing recruitment support for field operation projects. They will recruit, secure sub-contract partners and in-house field employees across the country for field engineering and design within the cable-TV industry. Candidate can be located anywhere in the U.S.

Duties & Responsibilities: (include but are not limited to)
•Responsible to recruit, screen and ultimately secure sub-contractor partners and in-house employees across the country.
•Interview applicants and gather information regarding education, experience, training, and job skills.
•Proactively drive the hiring process, provide regular feedback on the status of recruiting activity and any challenges faced to project manager(s).
•Communicate with multiple internal Project Managers in order to gain knowledge of projects and receive direction.
•Liaise with Human Resources at appropriate moment; collect all recruitment documentation and transfer to HR.
•Understand fielding guidelines in order to hire to project scope.
•Ability to negotiate and secure acceptable sub-contractor rates and terms.
•Research and analyze current project rates in order to provide relevant data to current projects.
•Build and keep a database of market rates.
•Responsible to send, collect, maintain and update sub-contractor paperwork and follow-up accordingly.
•Responsible to collect, maintain and update sub-contractor insurance certificates and badges.
•Develop and maintain a comprehensive database including sub-contractor feedback & certifications.
•Assist in the development of process improvements for contract and subcontract management.
•Assist in developing & maintaining a rating system for sub-contractors.
•Willingness to learn; adapt and accept increased responsibility.
