Job Description
Communication Data Link in searching for an Aerial Ground hand to join our team. We are looking for an entry level ground hand for our Aerial Division, who takes pride in their quality of work, able to adapt to changes, and has a strong desire to learn and grow with our company.
Qualifications:
- To perform tasks associated with the construction, maintenance and/or repair of aerial cable. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
- Must have a Class A CDL at least a permit
- Assist Lineman with any and all tasks
- Communicate professionally with co-workers
- Take directions from supervisor, work well independently or in collaboration with crew.
- Perform routine construction related activities such as carrying equipment, climbing ladders, using hand tools, manual digging, general clean up, ect.
- Able to drive and operate bucket truck and other related equipment.
- Must be willing to travel
- Other responsibilities as directed by Supervisors
Standard work week is Monday-Friday 7am-5pm, weekend and night work may be required with little or no notice; work schedules will be determined by season, weather deadlines, and availability to work.
