Qualifications

Minimum 10 years industry related experience Familiar with reading and interpreting AutoCad/Bentley System prints. Experience in all aspects of ISP/OSP construction as related to the telecom industry. Able to identify CATV & Fiber equipment in a wide array of settings. Advanced computer skills as related to Microsoft office, pdf manipulation, GIS systems. Professional appearance is a must.

Job Description

Complete Commercial survey walkouts to identify the most feasible route for service extension to commercial properties, for both fiber and Coaxial applications. Meet with the customer/property management to determine the preferred routing and options for building entry. Determine the existing utility path to the building. Identify pre-selected tie points in the field, build extension from tie point to property. Responsible for routing, pole permit data along route, all linear measurements to successful complete construction from the tie point to the building. Rod & Rope/place jetline or locate where applicable to identify customer conduit path routing. A series of pictures is required to Complete Scope of work.

Computer Portion - All data collected in the field must be input into a SOW packet. The packet involves developing a field map with color coded routing details. Inserting pictures with color coded routing information. Building a google image with color coded routing details, along with a Scope of work description & completing cost estimate forms.
