Qualifications
Must be able to perform all aspects of aerial Coax and Fiber construction. New Build, span replacements, transfers etc. Must be able to accurately read prints and plan jobs. Must be able to safely climb poles as well as utilize a bucket truck and all associated tools. 3+ years’ experience required.
Other Requirements
Must be located near or willing to travel or relocate into the Upstate NY area. We have brand new cable placer trucks available with new tools ready for work. Must be physically able to: lift, push, pull and move 80+ lbs as well as manipulate trailers and cable/fiber reels and SAFELY perform all aspects of aerial construction. Must be comfortable climbing poles. Must be able to read and understand prints.
Job Description
New Build Only: Aerial Coax, Strand and Fiber. Lineman do not need splice experience, unless preferred. Work and/or complete nodes does not require inspectors to inspect before billing, unlike some NY projects. Strand and Coax can be billed separately.
