Must be experienced working in a two-way plant environment and able to sweep and balance, trouble shoot, install customers and do system maintenance. Fiber to Premise experience a plus.

Job Description
Unique company operates fixed wireless networks, five rural cable TV systems and is building fiber to the premise networks in several communities. Company is seeking a two-way plant technician.
There is no video to maintain as we turned it off last year. This company is what we like to call a "Multi-Platform" Internet company. We do not do the triple play, just broadband and VoIP. Currently we have nearly 3000 total subscribers across the three platforms.
Qualified Technician would be responsible for maintaining the two-way fiber/coaxial plant in three communities. Duties would include balancing from the nodes out to the end of line, finding and fixing leaks and other network issues and installing customers.
The long term goal of the company is to convert all of the network to fiber to the premise.
The company operations center is located on three acres in Lincoln, Texas. There are a few free RV hook-ups on site for company employees. Lincoln is located on US Hwy 77 at the intersection of State Hwy 21 in Lee County. Nearby cities are Austin and Bryan/College Station.
