Job Description

Overview
PRG is seeking an experienced telecom Fiber Project Manager to manage and coordinator fiber construction projects.

Responsibilities
The Fiber Project Manager will oversee a number of fiber construction projects simultaneously, including developing & implementing project plans for each build, partnering and managing vertical communication with in-house and contractor engineering and construction teams, coordinating schedules to meet desired timelines and providing inter-departmental reporting on status.



Job Responsibilities:

•Actively manages any number of construction projects through a formal project management process to ensure project goals, timelines and budgets are met
•Oversees the planning, development, and execution of schedules by the project team to ensure the timely completion of project deadlines and milestones
•Establishes, owns, and leads project communication forums both vertically and horizontally
•Actively follow up on next steps/action items to insure activity is moving forward and identify any potential conflicts as they arise
•Project Manager will interact with stakeholders, both internal and external, to identify risks and develop mitigation plans as needed
•Responsible for project communication, including status reporting and risk management. Keeps the client and others informed about project status and any issues that may impact any given project or client relations.
•Identify and manage “Scope Creep”, including maintaining and obtaining approval via a standard Change Management/ Change Control process
•Owns project stakeholder relationships and communicates regularly with project stakeholders and management; manages expectations re: scope, timeline and deliverables
•Resolves conflicts and escalates unresolved issues
