Qualifications

Successful candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in the CATV industry, at least 1 year of fiber experience, proficient in surveying new projects and reporting readiness to project management. Must be able to read system design maps, assess new project construction and progress, review and critique power supply locations and report accordingly.

Other Requirements

Project coordination, computer skills and telecommunication construction knowledge beneficial. Must be capable of working in all temperatures, climates and weather conditions and be able to pass background and drug screen. We offer competitive pay and an extensive benefits package. Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)
•Supervise all operations to ensure that all construction operations are completed in accordance with customer and industry specifications. This includes ensuring that all employees working on project are working safely and productively.
•Provide OJT training for employees working under your direction on construction practices and methods to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
•Assign daily production to in-house and subcontract laborers and crews.
•Requisition, assign and track materials needed for the daily operations.
•Perform audits of construction operations to ensure work is being completed in compliance with project specifications and monitor safe work practices.
•Resolve complaints with property owners in areas where our personnel are working.
•Review daily production reports, material usage sheets, keep track of work hours, complete and maintain accurate "as-built maps" for areas built.
•Perform multiple field walk-out assignments on a daily basis over varying terrain and in weather conditions as encountered.
•Hand Draft (sketch) field routing plan for the location. Drawings to include existing routing (duct, vaults, pole line and applicable electronics) to point of service.
•Create a scope of work for the location fully describing all necessary work tasks required to provide CATV services to the point of service.
•Ensure all documents are legibly prepared and meet current design and routing specifications.
•Conduct on-site meetings to share construction designs and schedules with end users.
•Interface with municipalities to secure permits and access as required.
•Willingness to work shifts as assigned.
•Possession of a valid (class “C”) driver’s license.
•Possess a working knowledge of CATV Underground and Aerial Construction parameters.
•Ability to read and interpret CATV System design prints.
•Possess a basic knowledge of building construction methods and codes.
•Must be able to pass background and drug screening.
